How To Be An Entrepreneur: Discipline Yourself

Discipline is EVERYTHING

For the budding prospective entrepreneur there is the allure of fast cars, big homes, beautiful women. It all seems surreal and we all deserve it. But too often before there was or will be success there has to be self realization; discipline.

Slow is steady, steady is smooth, smooth is fast”

People have asked us why we say this, While serving in active duty Katriel Calderon was often learning new skills essential to survival. Hand to hand combat, finding shelter, first aid, climbing, weapons maintenance and the list goes on.

Every single time there was a lot at stake the mantra presented itself to be true. Why? Because every skill learned was learned via the crawl, walk, run method of the military.
The constant study, visualization and finally implantation engrained those skills into Katriel’s memory making it a sort of reflex after some time.

Because no one can start as an expert; you can’t go out and et your real estate license and proclaim to the world that you are the best. You have to crawl, walk, then run.

Discipline Yourself

Before you can provide any value to anyone you have to provide it for yourself. Have a spending problem? Fix it! Can’t save money? Fix it! Aren’t making enough money? Fix it! Instead of worrying about how you’ll fix it worry about WHY you have to fix it.

“If there’s a big enough WHY, the rest will follow”

Remember:

“Slow is steady, steady is smooth, smooth is fast”

Go Be A Maven

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank not only the men and women of the armed forces but the people who are the backbone of those who serve. Semper Fi — Hooah
